1. About the Service
Tempbrowser provides temporary, isolated cloud environments ("sandboxes") in which you can open links or examine files away from your own device. Each sandbox is provisioned for a single session and is automatically destroyed when the session ends, along with the data generated inside it.
The Service is provided as a tool to help reduce certain risks. It is not a guarantee of safety, and it does not replace your own security practices, judgment, or professional advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You may register using an email address and password or through a supported single sign-on provider. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may use certain features without an account on a limited, anonymous basis. Anonymous use is subject to additional restrictions and lower usage limits.
Notify us promptly at support@tempbrowser.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Plans & Features
The Service is offered in tiers with different session durations, usage limits, and features. We may add, modify, or remove features, and we may adjust usage limits, at any time. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method until you cancel.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
- Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated.
- Price changes. We may change pricing. Changes apply to future billing periods, and we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect.
- Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added where required.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to do, or to attempt to do, any of the following:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Access, store, generate, or distribute unlawful material, including content that exploits or endangers minors;
- Launch, facilitate, or coordinate attacks against any system, network, or person, including unauthorized access, scanning, denial-of-service activity, or credential abuse;
- Knowingly create, distribute, or weaponize malware, ransomware, or other harmful code against third parties;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, content-filtering, rate-limiting, or access controls;
- Use the Service to anonymize, conceal, or carry out fraudulent or abusive activity;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
- Scrape, overload, or place an unreasonable burden on the infrastructure, or use automated means to exceed usage limits;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent permitted by law.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
7. Your Content & Inputs
You retain ownership of the links, files, and other inputs you submit ("Inputs"). You grant us a limited license to process Inputs solely to operate and provide the Service. You are solely responsible for your Inputs and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit them.
Inputs and activity processed inside a sandbox exist only within that temporary environment and are destroyed when the session ends. We retain limited session metadata as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding your Inputs), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, infrastructure, payments, and communications. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties, and links or content accessed through a sandbox are not endorsed by us.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will detect, block, or neutralize every threat. The sandbox is a risk-reduction tool only; you should not rely on it as your sole means of protection and should never submit material you are not authorized to handle. You use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Inputs, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
